As an extra added bonus an Oklahoma Centennial fireworks display also took place, with fireworks being shot from the rooftops of several downtown buildings.

What made the event even more special for the brave souls that were in attendance was the wet snow which fell Friday night in Enid, making this years kick off for the Christmas season so special.

Fireworks in the snow is a beautiful site although a rarity in Oklahoma.

The folks in Enid who witnessed it Friday night should consider themselves very blessed at the start of this holiday season.
